Yaama, I’m Tezzi
I'm the founder of Bunji, an Indigenous-owned dog food brand inspired by the word “bunji,” meaning “mate” or “friend.” As a proud Wiradjuri woman born and raised on Country, my journey has always been guided by connection — to land, culture, and the mates who walk beside us, both human and four-legged.
Growing up, I learned the importance of care, respect, and sharing what we have. That same spirit lives on through Bunji. I wanted to create something that not only nourishes our dogs but also honours Country — using premium Australian ingredients and native superfoods in a way that gives back to community and celebrates culture.
As a mum of seven and lifelong animal lover, I know the joy that comes from having a loyal companion by your side. Bunji was born from that love — for our furry mates, for nature, and for each other.

The stunning artwork on our packaging, created by Wiradjuri artist Kate Webster, captures a story of loyalty, protection and lifelong comapnionship.
The yarning circle in the centre of the piece represents a dog at the heart of home, walking beside us through life. Side by side.
The paralell connecting lines between each circle symbolise the journeys we share with our best mates. Just as we can rescue them, they rescue us, reminding us that, in Mother Earth's eyes, we are all equal.
